We warmly invite you to participate at the Second South East Asian Network of Ergonomics Societies (SEANES) on the theme Ergonomics Innovations Leveraging User Experience and Sustainability. SEANES 2012 is to be held at Langkawi, Malaysia.
SEANES 2012 aims at promoting, sharing, and disseminating Human Factors, Ergonomics and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) knowledge, with the prime goal of enhancing user experience, productivity and sustainability of socio-technical systems through design innovations. The Conference is multidisciplinary in nature, cutting across these scientific fields.
SEANES 2012 shall stimulate discussion on the importance and applicability of ergonomics/human factors/HCI for sustainability. Ergonomics design innovations can improve global competitiveness as well as enhance the well-being of users.
Keynote speakers are leading human factors professionals with expertise in different fields. In addition, there will be various paper presentations, symposia, demonstrations, and workshop sessions. Participants are welcome to submit proposals through the conference website, www.seanes2012.org . Parallel sessions are grouped into tracks reflecting different human factors, ergonomics, and HCI perspectives.
SEANES 2012 is hosted by Damai Sciences, in cooperation with the Ergonomics Societies in South East Asia – Ergonomics Society of Singapore, Ergonomics Society of Thailand, Perhimpunan Ergonomi Indonesia, and the Philippines Ergonomics Society. The conference is endorsed by the International Ergonomics Association.
To keep fit throughout the conference, there will be fitness activities ranging from group aerobic exercises, beach games, kayaking, and so forth. Bring your sports gear and join us in the keep fit programme.
The Organizing Committee looks forward to welcoming you to SEANES 2012 and to the exotic island of Langkawi!
